Hey Ya'll,
Sorry for not writing for a while. Been quite busy.
Well, we butchered our yearling ram Hershey's yesterday. It wasn't as bloody as one might think. My Dad is great at skinning so now Mom has a brand new ram hide, it's brown too. The ram tasted great.
We are planning on butchering some more of the sheep. Possibly one today.
I got my Hunting and Fishing license the other day. Now that I'm 16 I have to have one. I've been packing my 22 pistol when I go on bike rides and walks on our road hoping I'll see something that's in season that I can shoot. Been seein' a lot of Spruce Grouse but I have to wait till August 10th.
We're going clamming! I guess our destination is in the area of Clam Gulch. I can't WAIT to see the ocean again and smell that air...*sigh*. We're leaving Friday and I don't think we'll be back till Sunday, but I'm not sure. Should be fun though, just pray there will be sun please! :)
