New Lamb!!

Hey Ya'll!

This morning (May 4th, Sunday 2008) I woke up went outside and milked Star (my Nubian milk goat) I fed the sheep and then looked in the pasture and noticed Vanilla (our youngest Shetland ewe) was standing out there with a newborn Baby!! I screamed for joy and ran back to the house to tell everyone. I went back into the pasture to check if the baby was okay. She was. After we got home from church I went outside and the baby was still fine, then I discovered she was a ewe (Yay!) now all four of our ewes have had babies! three ewe lambs and two ram lambs.
Vanilla is doing a superb job for being a first time mamma (the baby may be named 'Fudge' but the name is still pending)

My Dad bought me two new wethers the other day! they are around 11 months old so their almost yearlings. They are half brothers, both Toggenburg. Thunder (the oldest) and Lightning. Their Beautiful! I have already begun packing and taking the boys on walks, little Latte has been tagging along trying to get the hang of walking beside me. He's doing pretty good. I've got him in a collar now.
Here are the pictures I'm sure ya'll are waiting to see :D

Isn't Vanilla so cute with her cutie pie baby!? :o)

Here is Thunder, he is so adorable! he has horns, a beard AND wattles!! :oD

And here is my beautiful Lightning, he seems to enjoy chewing on the spruce branches :P now, if he were a milk goat I would protest...

Talk to ya'll later!
